Smart Cockpit System Engineer

FIAT USA is looking for an experienced Smart Cockpit System Engineer to help lead the development of our next-generation connected car platform. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the development, integration, and deployment of our advanced Smart Cockpit System. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for creating innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of professional experience in the automotive industry. You must also have a strong understanding of embedded software development, vehicle network architecture, and automotive electronics. A deep knowledge of autonomous driving, AI, machine learning, and/or sensor fusion is a plus.Above all else, you must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, a proven ability to collaborate effectively with teams, and the drive to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the automotive industry. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain a connected car platform using embedded software development, vehicle network architecture, and automotive electronics.
2. Lead cross-functional teams of software engineers, system architects, and product managers to design and develop autonomous driving, AI, machine learning, and sensor fusion solutions.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during integration and deployment of the Smart Cockpit System.
4. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the automotive industry.
5. Collaborate effectively with other teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
6. Implement best practices and coding standards for the development of the connected car platform.
7. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the development, integration, and deployment processes.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.
9. Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest new features for the Smart Cockpit System.
