- Troubleshoot any issues that arise with the Open VMS systems and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team to develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our Open VMS systems.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Open VMS technology to ensure our systems are utilizing the most up-to-date and innovative solutions.
- Communicate and coordinate with external vendors and partners to resolve any issues related to our Open VMS systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for all Open VMS systems and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and efficient problem-solving.
- Continuously monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Train and provide support to other team members on Open VMS systems and processes.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including security protocols, to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with regulations.
In-Depth Knowledge And Experience With Open Vms Operating System.
Strong Understanding Of Network And Storage Infrastructure In An Open Vms Environment.
Proficiency In Scripting Languages Such As Dcl And Perl.
Familiarity With Database Management Systems, Particularly Oracle And Sql.
