Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Tanium Engineer to join our First Data team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who can think outside the box and has a passion for technology. The Tanium Engineer will have a key role in helping our organization maintain its industry-leading performance and security capabilities.To be successful in this role, you should have experience and knowledge in Tanium operations, as well as a strong familiarity with Windows and Linux systems. You should also have excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Responsibilities of a Tanium Engineer:

  1. Develop and maintain Tanium operations to ensure industry-leading performance and security capabilities.
  2. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Tanium systems and applications.
  3. Monitor system performance and security, and analyze network data to identify and resolve potential issues.
  4. Work collaboratively with other IT professionals to ensure the secure and efficient operation of our Tanium systems.
  5. Design and implement processes and procedures for deploying and managing Tanium systems.
  6. Create and maintain documentation for all Tanium systems.
  7. Research and recommend new technologies to improve system performance and security.
  8. Remain up to date on the latest technology trends and advancements in the Tanium industry.
  9. Provide training and support to users on Tanium systems and applications.
  10. Provide technical support and assistance to users.
