
Director of Sales & Marketing
Oversee all sales & marketing efforts. Lead strategic direction, management and tactics to achieve budgeted top-line revenues. Accountable for sales & marketing budget to assure appropriate spend. Continually assess strengths/challenges of sales and catering team members. Provides coaching, mentoring and training to sales team. Establishes a sense of urgency with the team to understand and achieve the needs of the hotel. Handles specific accounts assigned by Regional Director of Sales & Marketing. Handles assigned market segment based upon experience and depth of contact base to benefit hotel. Responsible for achieving group rooms, business travel and Catering revenue budget for hotel. Consistently reviews shifts in market mix with revenue and operations teams and makes deployment/pricing recommendations.
Two years of employment in hotel sales specifically.
Must be available to work some weekends and holidays, as necessary.
Ability to make decisions based on established policies and procedures.
