Job Description

First Midwest Bank is looking for an experienced and driven individual to join our team as Talent Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our recruitment process throughout the entire employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, as well as an understanding of the banking industry and the ability to effectively manage personnel. To be considered for this position, applicants must have a minimum of three years of experience in talent management and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent to the organization.
  2. Oversee the entire recruitment process, from initial job postings to candidate selection.
  3. Monitor applicant progress and ensure that all hiring processes are compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent acquisition resources.
  5. Source, evaluate, and recommend candidates for open positions.
  6. Develop and maintain a database of qualified candidates.
  7. Develop and implement onboarding and orientation procedures.
  8. Provide guidance, assistance, and support to managers and employees in all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  9. Manage employee performance and conduct performance reviews.
  10. Develop and implement career development and succession planning programs.
  11. Monitor and analyze employee engagement and satisfaction data.
  12. Facilitate employee relations and ensure a positive workplace culture.
  13. Oversee payroll and benefit administration.
  14. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
