Application Developer - Designer

Functions as the primary business analyst and application developer for the division. Provides technical leadership for the design, development and maintenance of the division's information systems. Independently documents core business processes and applies technical expertise and business process knowledge to maintain, enhance, and/or modernize software applications supporting the division's business processes. Gathers requirements from users, creates specifications, and develops and writes code to support new and existing applications. Encodes, tests, debugs, and installs applications. Performs duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, and incident management. Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards.
