Job Description

Are you passionate about health science policy and its application to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)? We are seeking an experienced Health Science Policy Analyst to join our team and make a real difference in the regulation of food and drug safety for the health and wellbeing of all Americans.In this role, you will use your knowledge and experience in health science policy and health sciences to create and implement policies and regulations to ensure the safety of food and drugs. You must be able to quickly analyze complex information, effectively collaborate with stakeholders, and effectively communicate policy decisions.The ideal candidate should have a strong background in health science policy, a deep understanding of health sciences, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. A master's degree in health sciences, public health, or a related field is required. Experience in a similar role at the FDA or another federal agency is highly preferred. Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze complex information to create and implement health science policies and regulations for the FDA.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure policy decisions are effectively communicated.
  3. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of health sciences and health science policy.
  4. Write and present policy decisions to other stakeholders.
  5. Provide research and analysis to support policy decisions.
  6. Monitor changes in health science policy and regulations and advise other stakeholders accordingly.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and other agencies.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Respond to public inquiries and provide guidance on health science policy-related matters.
