Job Description

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join our team and lead program and project management initiatives. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for organizing and coordinating projects, directing staff, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record of managing complex projects, be able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, and be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Lead program and project management initiatives for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
  2. Coordinate and organize projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  3. Direct staff members and assign tasks to ensure successful project completion.
  4. Monitor project progress and adjust timelines and resources as needed.
  5. Develop detailed project plans, including cost estimates, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  6. Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders, reporting progress and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
  7. Utilize project management software and tools to ensure accurate tracking of project data.
  8. Evaluate and update project management processes to ensure efficient and successful project completion.
  9. Prepare reports on project progress and recommend changes to ensure successful outcomes.
  10. Perform quality assurance and risk management activities to ensure project integrity and compliance with regulations.
