Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Public Health Analyst to join the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This individual will be responsible for using their expertise in public health to oversee the safety and efficacy of food, dietary supplements, and drugs. The ideal candidate should be organized, analytical, and have excellent communication skills. They should also be able to work effectively in a team setting and manage multiple projects simultaneously. In addition to the requirements listed below, the successful candidate should be passionate about protecting the public’s health.Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in public health, biology, or a related field- At least 2 years of experience in public health analysis- Knowledge of health and medical terminology- Understanding of epidemiological principles and methods- Ability to analyze and interpret scientific data- Excellent communication and organizational skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Proficiency in MS Office and statistical software

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain data collection systems and databases to support public health analysis.
  2. Analyze and interpret data sets and other research materials to identify trends and make recommendations.
  3. Monitor and evaluate public health programs to ensure compliance with FDA guidelines.
  4. Prepare and present reports on public health programs and their effectiveness.
  5. Collaborate with various team members to develop and implement long-term strategies for public health programs.
  6. Provide technical support and advice to public health personnel and other stakeholders.
  7. Stay abreast of current trends in public health and apply best practices to program development.
  8. Identify and evaluate potential risks and develop strategies to minimize them.
  9. Participate in public health meetings, conferences, and workshops.
  10. Provide training and guidance to team members on public health policies and procedures.
