Are you an experienced Science Policy Analyst looking for an exciting new challenge? The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is looking for a Supervisory Science Policy Analyst to join our fast-paced and dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of science policy and a desire to make a difference in the lives of Americans. They should also have experience in program and project management, as well as the ability to work comfortably in a team environment.A bachelor's degree in public policy, public health, science policy, or a related field is required. A master's degree in a related field is preferred. The successful candidate will also have a minimum of three years of experience in science policy and/or program and project management.If you have a passion for science policy and the desire to make a positive impact, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement science policy strategies and initiatives
  2. Analyze proposed legislation and regulations to ensure compliance with FDA standards
  3. Advise senior management on science policy issues and recommend solutions to problems
  4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful implementation of science policy initiatives
  5. Monitor and evaluate existing science policies and programs
  6. Research and analyze scientific literature and data to inform policy decisions
  7. Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders
  8. Participate in meetings and other activities related to science policy
  9. Represent the FDA in meetings with external groups
  10. Stay up to date on changes in science policy and other related regulations and laws
