3. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing information and recommendations on produce selections and assisting with any questions or concerns.
4. Prepare and package produce items, such as cutting fruits and vegetables, creating fruit trays, and making juices and smoothies, in a timely and efficient manner.
5. Keep the produce department clean and organized at all times, including maintaining proper temperature and humidity levels, and regularly sanitizing equipment and work areas.
6. Receive and stock produce deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory levels and proper storage according to company guidelines.
7. Collaborate with other team members to create eye-catching and visually appealing displays that showcase the variety and freshness of our produce offerings.
8. Uphold Food Lion's commitment to exceptional customer service by addressing customer complaints and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
9. Continuously seek opportunities to improve department sales and profitability, such as suggesting new produce items or promotions, and implementing cost-saving measures.
10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines, and actively participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
