- Design, develop, and implement advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for Ford vehicles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and understand vehicle system requirements.
- Write and review embedded software code for ADAS features, ensuring high quality and adherence to industry standards.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in ADAS technology to provide innovative solutions.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Write technical documentation and reports to document software design, development, and testing processes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate software with vehicle hardware systems.
- Collaborate with external suppliers and partners to integrate their software components into Ford's ADAS systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in the team.
- Communicate project progress, issues, and risks to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security standards in all software development activities.
- Continuously learn and develop skills to stay updated with emerging technologies and tools in the automotive industry.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Developing Embedded Software For Automotive Applications.
Strong Understanding Of Adas (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) Technologies And Their Integration Into Vehicle Systems.
Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C, C++, And Assembly, As Well As Experience With Real-Time Operating Systems.
Experience With Industry Standards And Protocols Such As Can, Lin, And Ethernet, As Well As Experience With Software Development Tools And Processes Such As Autosar And Spice.
