  1. Develop and implement sourcing strategies for direct and service products, in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  2. Lead a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful execution of sourcing strategies.
  3. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  4. Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed decisions on sourcing and supplier selection.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the company's product needs and ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
  6. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms for the company.
  7. Oversee the supplier relationship management process, ensuring suppliers meet quality, delivery, and performance standards.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams.
  9. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in procurement and supply chain management to continuously improve processes and strategies.
  10. Serve as a subject matter expert on procurement and supply chain management, providing guidance and support to team members and other departments within the company.
  11. Mentor and develop team members, providing opportunities for growth and development.
  12. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  13. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication within the team and across departments.
  14. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at industry events and conferences.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Procurement: A Direct And Service Procurement Product Group Lead At Ford Motor Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Procurement, Preferably In The Automotive Industry. This Experience Should Include Managing Procurement Processes, Negotiating Contracts, And Identifying Cost-Saving Opportunities.

  • Knowledge Of Direct And Service Procurement: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Direct And Service Procurement Processes And Best Practices. This Includes A Deep Knowledge Of Supply Chain Management, Supplier Relationship Management, And Cost Analysis.

  • Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Product Group Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Procurement Professionals. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership And Team Management Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Feedback, And Motivate Team Members To Achieve Their Goals.

  • Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills: The Product Group Lead Will Be Responsible For Negotiating Contracts With Suppliers And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams Within The Company. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills, As Well As The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.
