  1. Design and develop software solutions to improve the delivery process of Ford vehicles.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  3. Develop and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable software code.
  4. Conduct code reviews and ensure coding best practices are followed.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  6. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve software development processes.
  7. Lead and mentor junior software engineers to foster their growth and development.
  8. Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of software products.
  9. Communicate project progress and any potential roadblocks to stakeholders.
  10. Participate in the testing and quality assurance of software products.
  11. Collaborate with other teams to integrate software components and ensure seamless functionality.
  12. Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation.
  13. Follow company policies and procedures regarding software development and delivery.

  15. Represent Ford Motor Company as a technical expert at industry events and conferences.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Programming Experience: A Senior Software Engineer, Delivery At Ford Motor Should Have A Strong Background In Programming And Be Proficient In Multiple Programming Languages, Such As Java, C++, Python, Or Javascript.

  • Knowledge Of Software Development Processes: This Role Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Software Development Methodologies, Such As Agile Or Scrum, And Experience In Delivering Software Projects On Time And Within Budget.
