We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Loss Prevention Associate. As a Loss Prevention Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our store and its assets. We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.   1. Monitor store entrances and exits to deter and prevent theft and other criminal activity.
  2. Conduct routine patrols of the store to identify any potential security risks.
  3. Identify and report any suspicious behavior or activity to management.
  4. Operate surveillance equipment to monitor store activity and investigate any incidents.
  5. Collaborate with store management to develop and implement loss prevention strategies.
  6. Train and educate store staff on loss prevention protocols and best practices.
  7. Conduct internal investigations into any reported incidents of theft or fraud.
  8. Maintain accurate records of all security-related incidents and reports.
  9. Communicate effectively with law enforcement and other external agencies as needed.
  10. Respond promptly and appropriately to any security or safety emergencies.
  11. Conduct store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  12. Participate in regular training and development to stay updated on the latest security techniques and technologies.
  13. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
  14. Adhere to all safety and security protocols and regulations.
  15. Uphold the company's values and standards of excellence in customer service.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Successful Candidate For The Loss Prevention Associate Position At Forman Mills Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And Ability To Follow Instructions And Procedures.

  • Previous Loss Prevention Experience: Ideally, The Candidate Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In Loss Prevention Or A Related Field. This Could Include Working In Retail, Security, Or Law Enforcement. Previous Experience Gives The Candidate A Basic Understanding Of The Role And Responsibilities Of A Loss Prevention Associate.

  • Strong Observational And Analytical Skills: A Loss Prevention Associate Must Be Able To Observe And Analyze Situations Quickly And Accurately. This Includes Identifying Suspicious Behavior, Detecting Potential Theft, And Responding Appropriately To Incidents. Strong Observational And Analytical Skills Are Crucial In This Role.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Loss Prevention Associate, The Candidate Will Need To Interact With A Variety Of Individuals, Including Customers, Store Employees, And Law Enforcement Personnel. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Necessary To Effectively Communicate With All Parties Involved And Resolve Any Conflicts That May Arise.

  • Ability To Work Flexible Hours: The Candidate Should Be Willing And Able To Work A Flexible Schedule, Including Nights, Weekends, And Holidays. This Is Important As Theft And Other Security Incidents Can Occur At Any Time. The Ability To Work A Flexible Schedule Ensures That The Store Is Adequately Staffed During High-Risk Times.
