Safety Supervisor

Assist in a proactive local safety strategy that drives the location(s) to remain healthy, safe, and operational. Participates in developing a vision for safety, includes continual enhancement of established programs and consistent implementation of new programs within a team environment. The Supervisor will facilitate the development and sustainability of the safety culture, supporting the goals, behaviors, and actions of Foster Farms’ Corporate Safety Program and will act as a change agent to accelerate best practice sharing. Facilitate the safety programs for the site; recommend the design and implementation of new programs to prevent Team member injuries and minimize company losses. Monitors compliance of safety programs through audits, inspections, spot checks, and regular plant walk-throughs. Inspect equipment, working conditions, and maintain OSHA files and supporting documents.
