Job Description

Welcome to Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, where luxury and exceptional service meet at every turn. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Event Coordinator to join our team. As an Event Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to create unforgettable experiences for our guests while working in a fast-paced and glamorous environment.   1. Plan and execute all aspects of events, including but not limited to conferences, weddings, corporate parties, and other special occasions.
  2. Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations and solutions.
  3. Coordinate with various departments within the hotel, such as food and beverage, housekeeping, and sales, to ensure seamless execution of events.
  4. Create detailed event timelines, agendas, and floor plans to ensure all aspects of the event are executed according to the client's expectations.
  5. Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  6. Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates and address any concerns or changes to the event.
  7. Oversee event setup, including decorations, catering, audiovisual equipment, and other necessary arrangements.
  8. Manage event staff and ensure they are properly trained and equipped to provide exceptional service to guests.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement new ideas and strategies to enhance the guest experience.
  10. Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events and provide swift and effective solutions.
  11. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all events, including expenses, contracts, and guest feedback.
  12. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and attract potential clients.
  13. Uphold the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts by providing exceptional service and attention to detail at all times.
  14. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve event planning and execution processes.
  15. Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines, to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests and staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Event Planning And Coordination: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Organizing And Executing Events, Preferably In The Hospitality Industry.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Clients, Vendors, And Team Members Is Crucial In This Role. Strong Interpersonal Skills Are Also Necessary To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Ensure Successful Events.

  • Attention To Detail And Organization: Event Coordinators Must Be Detail-Oriented And Have Strong Organizational Skills To Manage Multiple Events Simultaneously. They Must Be Able To Prioritize Tasks, Adhere To Timelines, And Ensure All Event Details Are Executed Flawlessly.

  • Budget Management Skills: The Ability To Create And Manage Event Budgets Is Essential For An Event Coordinator. Candidates Should Have Experience Negotiating Contracts, Sourcing Vendors, And Managing Expenses To Ensure Events Are Delivered Within Budget.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Trends And Best Practices: A Good Understanding Of The Latest Event Trends, Technologies, And Best Practices Is Important For An Event Coordinator To Deliver Unique And Memorable Events. Candidates Should Have A Keen Eye For Design, Creativity, And A Passion For Staying Up-To-Date With Industry Developments.
