- Consult with clients to understand their vision and desires for their wedding day.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and venues to ensure the highest quality services and products for our clients.
- Conduct site visits and venue inspections to ensure suitability for events.
- Create and manage budgets for weddings, including negotiating contracts and cost-saving measures.
- Coordinate all aspects of the wedding planning process, including but not limited to venue selection, menu planning, decor and design, guest accommodations, and transportation.
- Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates and gather feedback, ensuring a seamless planning process.
- Anticipate and troubleshoot any potential issues or challenges that may arise during the planning process and on the day of the event.
- Act as a liaison between clients and vendors to ensure all details are executed flawlessly.
- Supervise and manage event staff, including coordinating schedules and delegating responsibilities.
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are obtained for events.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide the most innovative and memorable experiences for our clients.
- Utilize strong organizational skills to maintain detailed event timelines, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage and audiovisual, to ensure a cohesive and exceptional event experience for clients.
- Proactively seek opportunities to upsell and enhance the client's experience, while also adhering to company standards and policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and go above and beyond to exceed clients' expectations.
Strong Event Planning Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Event Planning Experience, Specifically In The Wedding Industry. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Coordinating And Executing Weddings Of Various Sizes And Styles.
Attention To Detail: A Wedding Planner At Four Seasons Hotels And Resorts Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Ensure That Every Aspect Of The Wedding Is Flawlessly Executed. This Includes Everything From Coordinating With Vendors, Managing Timelines, And Overseeing The Setup And Decoration Of The Event Space.
Excellent Communication Skills: As The Main Point Of Contact For The Couple And Their Families, The Wedding Planner Must Have Excellent Communication Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Listen To The Clients' Needs And Preferences, As Well As Clearly And Confidently Communicate Information To Vendors And Other Team Members.
