- Plan and coordinate luxury weddings at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in accordance with the hotel's standards and the client's preferences.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other event professionals to ensure successful and seamless execution of each wedding.
- Understand and anticipate the needs and desires of clients to create custom and personalized wedding experiences.
- Collaborate with clients to create event timelines, budgets, and detailed proposals, ensuring all elements are in line with their vision and budget.
- Source and negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices and services for each wedding, including but not limited to venues, caterers, photographers, and entertainment.
- Manage all aspects of the wedding planning process, including but not limited to venue selection, menu planning, decor, transportation, and guest accommodations.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process, promptly responding to client inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest wedding trends and continuously seek out innovative and creative ideas to enhance the wedding experience for clients.
- Ensure all events are executed flawlessly and within budget, while also maximizing revenue opportunities for the hotel.
- Provide on-site coordination and supervision during weddings to ensure seamless execution and handle any last-minute changes or issues.
- Maintain detailed records and files for each event, including contracts, agreements, and payment information.
- Uphold the Four Seasons brand standards and deliver exceptional service to guests at all times.
- Work closely with other departments within the hotel, including food and beverage, sales, and marketing, to promote and enhance the wedding experience at Four Seasons.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote Four Seasons as a premier wedding destination and to build relationships with potential clients and vendors.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and colleagues.
Extensive Experience In Event Planning: A Successful Candidate For The Wedding Planner Job At Four Seasons Hotels And Resorts Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Event Planning, Specifically In Organizing Weddings And Other Special Events. This Experience Should Include Coordinating With Vendors, Managing Budgets, And Handling Logistics.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Build Strong Relationships With Clients, Vendors, And Team Members Is Crucial For A Wedding Planner At Four Seasons. This Includes Being An Active Listener, Having Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, And The Ability To Work Well Under Pressure.
