Digital Content Creator

The Digital Content Creator is responsible for publishing and updating news content on the station’s digital platforms, including but not limited to text stories, photos, links and related information, slideshows, videos and streaming of newscasts and live news events. Also responsible for posting and engaging with users on the station’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Alerts users to pertinent breaking news via mobile alerts and social media posts. Monitors web, mobile and social media sites for quality control purposes, and produces special web coverage during major news events. Works with the Digital Content Manager to maintain all production/quality aspects of the station’s web sites and social media platforms. Produces compelling, engaging content for the station’s social media platforms. Identifies stories that are socially-driven, and creates posts that generate interest to drive engagement.
