Job Description

Freddie Mac is looking for a Capital Markets Intern to join our team and help drive the success of our Capital Markets business. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is looking to gain valuable experience in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the capital markets and a strong desire to learn and grow.The Capital Markets Intern will be responsible for providing support to Freddie Mac’s Capital Markets team, which includes trading, sales, and analytics. This role will involve working closely with other members of the team to support the successful execution of capital markets transactions.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a keen interest in capital markets and financial services. Additionally, the candidate should possess the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, be open to feedback, and be passionate about learning and developing.Required qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including developing and maintaining financial models• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines• A strong interest in the capital markets and financial services industry

Responsibilites:

• Provide support to Freddie Mac’s Capital Markets team, including trading, sales, and analytics • Develop and maintain financial models in Microsoft Excel • Communicate effectively with other members of the team • Take initiative and meet deadlines • Stay up to date with industry trends and developments related to the capital markets • Work independently and take initiative to solve problems • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Participate in learning and development activities related to the capital markets
