  1. Conduct thorough underwriting analysis for multifamily mortgage loans to ensure compliance with company guidelines and industry standards.
  2. Review financial statements, rent rolls, and other relevant documentation to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential borrowers.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze market data, property information, and borrower financials to assess risk and make informed investment decisions.
  4. Communicate effectively with borrowers, lenders, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide updates on loan status.
  5. Utilize industry knowledge and expertise to identify potential risks and make recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
  6. Maintain a strong understanding of commercial real estate finance principles and industry trends to inform underwriting decisions.
  7. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements while performing underwriting duties.
  8. Provide support and guidance to junior underwriters and other team members as needed.
  9. Continuously monitor and evaluate loan performance to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
  10. Participate in team meetings and other collaborative discussions to share insights and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
  11. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
  12. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential opportunities for improvement.
  13. Contribute to the development and implementation of underwriting policies and procedures.
  14. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  15. Uphold the company's mission and values while representing Freddie Mac in a positive and professional manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Real Estate, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Multifamily Underwriting Or Related Field.

  • Strong Understanding Of Multifamily Housing Market Trends And Regulations.

  • Proficiency In Financial Analysis And Ability To Evaluate Complex Financial Statements.

  • Familiarity With Freddie Mac's Underwriting Guidelines And Processes.
