Job Description

As an Area Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our stores and the protection of our company's assets.   1. Develop and implement effective strategies to protect the company's assets within the assigned area.
  2. Lead and manage a team of asset protection specialists to ensure the safety and security of our stores.
  3. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop proactive solutions.
  4. Train and educate store teams on best practices for preventing and responding to theft, fraud, and other security threats.
  5. Monitor and analyze store data and incident reports to identify trends and patterns, and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as store operations and HR, to implement company-wide asset protection policies and procedures.
  7. Manage and oversee the budget for the area's asset protection efforts.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in asset protection technology, and make recommendations for implementation as needed.
  9. Conduct investigations and interviews as necessary to address incidents of theft, fraud, or other security violations.
  10. Foster a culture of diversity and inclusivity within the asset protection team and promote a safe and inclusive workplace for all employees and customers.
  11. Represent the company in external meetings and conferences related to asset protection and security.
  12. Communicate regularly with upper management on the status of asset protection efforts and present reports and data as needed.
  13. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to asset protection and security.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Asset Protection Or Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Environment.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices And Current Trends In Asset Protection And Loss Prevention.

  • Proven Leadership Abilities, Including Experience Managing A Team And Implementing Successful Training And Development Programs.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Relationships With External Partners.
