  1. Develop and implement strategies to protect and secure the company's digital assets, including customer data and intellectual property.
  2. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cyber law and industry best practices to ensure the company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Provide legal guidance and support to the company's various departments, including IT, marketing, and product development, on all matters related to cyber law.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential legal risks and develop risk mitigation plans.
  5. Conduct thorough research and analysis on complex cyber legal issues and provide practical solutions to mitigate potential risks.
  6. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to cyber law, including vendor agreements, data privacy agreements, and cyber insurance policies.
  7. Train and educate employees on cyber law and best practices for data protection and security.
  8. Represent the company in legal proceedings related to cyber law, such as data breaches or cyber attacks.
  9. Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed to ensure the company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders to stay informed on the latest developments in cyber law.
  11. Monitor and report on emerging cyber law trends and developments and make recommendations to senior management on potential impacts to the company's operations and strategies.
  12. Lead and manage a team of cyber attorneys and legal professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support as needed.
  13. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure consistency and alignment with the company's overall legal strategy and objectives.
  14. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions and communications, both internally and externally.

Job Qualifications
  • A Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School With A Strong Academic Record.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience Practicing Law In The Field Of Cybersecurity And Data Privacy, Preferably In The Insurance Industry.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Pertaining To Cybersecurity, Data Privacy, And Information Security.

  • Proven Experience In Providing Legal Advice And Guidance To Senior Management And Executives On Complex Cybersecurity Issues.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Ability To Manage A Team Of Attorneys And Legal Professionals, As Well As Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams Within The Organization.
