
Aerospace Engineer
At General Dynamics, we are looking for an Aerospace Engineer with a passion for aerospace engineering and a drive to help advance our projects. This individual will be an integral part of our team, responsible for the design, fabrication, and testing of aerospace components and systems. We are searching for an experienced and creative Aerospace Engineer who is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Required qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field• At least 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering• Ability to multi-task and work independently• Proficient in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Responsibilities: • Design, fabricate, and test aerospace components and systems in accordance with applicable standards and engineering specifications • Research and analyze aerospace engineering-related data to ensure accuracy and quality of projects • Utilize CAD software to generate designs and engineering drawings • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications • Monitor and maintain aerospace engineering-related equipment and materials • Collaborate with other engineers and technical personnel to ensure successful completion of projects • Assist in the development of new technologies and innovation initiatives • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other documents • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aerospace engineering related technologies and industry trends
