Job Description

At General Dynamics, we are seeking an experienced, motivated Aerospace Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about aerospace engineering and is ready to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment. The Aerospace Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing aircraft, spacecraft, satellites and missiles. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate should also have a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop aircraft, spacecraft, satellites and missiles.
  2. Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues.
  3. Ensure designs are compliant with applicable regulations and standards.
  4. Analyze data to identify potential design improvements.
  5. Develop test plans and procedures to evaluate designs.
  6. Collaborate with other engineers to ensure designs meet customer requirements.
  7. Prepare engineering documents and reports.
  8. Maintain a thorough understanding of aerospace engineering principles.
  9. Monitor the progress of projects and ensure deadlines are met.
  10. Provide technical guidance to team members and other stakeholders.
