Completion Of An Accredited Practical Nursing Program: Prospective Lpns Must Have Completed A State-Approved Training Program In Practical Nursing, Which Typically Takes 12-18 Months To Complete.
State Licensure: Lpns Must Have A Valid And Current License To Practice Nursing In The State They Will Be Working In. This Requires Passing The National Council Licensure Examination (Nclex-Pn).
Strong Clinical Skills: Lpns Must Possess The Necessary Technical Skills To Provide Direct Patient Care, Including Administering Medication, Taking Vital Signs, And Performing Basic Medical Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Lpns Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes Listening Actively, Providing Clear Instructions, And Showing Empathy And Compassion.
