1. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients/residents in accordance with established standards and practices.
2. Assess and monitor patient health status, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely.
5. Utilize critical thinking skills to identify and address any changes in patient condition and update care plans as necessary.
6. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventative care measures to promote optimal health and well-being.
7. Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
8. Serve as a patient advocate and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure their needs and concerns are addressed.
9. Participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills and maintain current RN license.
