Revenue Cycle Manager

Genesis HealthCare is looking for an experienced and motivated Revenue Cycle Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare revenue cycle operations and a track record of successfully leading teams and driving process improvements.The Revenue Cycle Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in the revenue cycle. They will oversee billing, coding, collections, accounts receivable, and denials management processes, while also working closely with other departments to ensure that all financial goals are met.The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, five or more years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, and proven success leading teams and driving process improvement. They must also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills, and a strong focus on customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute strategies to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in the revenue cycle.
2. Oversee billing, coding, collections, accounts receivable, and denials management processes.
3. Work closely with other departments to ensure that all financial goals are met.
4. Lead and manage a team of revenue cycle professionals.
5. Monitor and analyze revenue cycle performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
6. Ensure that all policies and procedures are up to date and followed.
7. Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors.
8. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
9. Facilitate training and development of team members.
10. Stay abreast of changes and trends in the healthcare industry.
