Job Description

Perform daily pre-operation and GMP inspections and associated paperwork. Report concerns to supervisor. Perform environmental swabbing of surfaces. Perform daily in-process quality inspections of work in progress and finished goods. Perform calibrations of testing equipment. Assist the quality control inspector and quality supervisor with other tasks as needed. Monitor and record temperatures of storage areas and products. Make decisions to put items on hold or stop production when non-conformances relating to food safety or quality occur. Coach production team members on correct food safety procedures and GMPs.
