- Develop and implement strategic communications plans for the executive leadership team, in alignment with Gilead's corporate messaging and values.
- Serve as a key advisor to the executive leadership team on all internal and external communications matters.
- Craft compelling and engaging storytelling for Gilead's leadership, highlighting the company's mission and innovative treatments.
- Ensure consistent and effective messaging across all communication channels, including social media, press releases, and company publications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute communications strategies that support business objectives.
- Monitor industry trends and keep abreast of best practices in leadership communications to continually improve and evolve Gilead's approach.
- Manage and mentor a team of communications professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Work closely with senior leaders to prepare for media interviews and speaking engagements, providing key messaging and talking points.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, industry organizations, and advocacy groups.
- Measure and report on the success of leadership communications efforts, using data to inform future strategies and initiatives.
Extensive Experience In Leadership Communications: A Successful Candidate For The Senior Director Role At Gilead Sciences Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Developing And Executing Strategic Leadership Communications Plans At A Senior Level.
