Job Description

We’re looking for an innovative and creative Industrial Designer at Gillette to join our world-renowned team. As an Industrial Designer, you will be responsible for creating design concepts and developing them through to a finished product. You will also be responsible for the management of the product design process from concept to production. To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or a related field. You must also have at least two years of experience working as a designer in a product development environment. Additionally, you must also be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of design principles, manufacturing processes, and material selection. You must also have an excellent eye for detail and the ability to think critically and analytically to solve complex design problems. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop creative product design concepts and bring them to fruition.
  2. Manage the product design process from concept to production.
  3. Utilize design principles, manufacturing processes, and material selection to create quality designs.
  4. Conduct research and analyze customer needs to create user-friendly products.
  5. Collaborate with other designers and engineers to ensure successful product development.
  6. Use CAD software to create 2D and 3D designs.
  7. Prepare detailed specifications and technical drawings for products.
  8. Conduct tests and simulations to evaluate product performance.
  9. Create prototypes and conduct tests to refine the design.
  10. Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
