Job Description

Prepares equipment, supplies and materials for Emergency Medical laboratory demonstrations and assists instructors in demonstrating emergency medical procedures. Assists students individually and in small groups with laboratory work provided by instructors including reviewing and demonstrating emergency medical procedures. Monitors students in lab settings in accordance with lab guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe learning environment. Maintains and organizes storage and work areas in order to facilitate a clean, safe, and effective learning environment. Performs related work as required.

Job Qualifications

  • Two years experience as an Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic in the field or in a hospital

  • Current certification as an American Heart Association CPR Instructor.*

  • Current certification as an Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic in Los Angeles County.*
