
Development Engineer - Test Driver
Coordinate and run tire performance tests (such as wet and dry handling, noise evaluations and ride comfort testing) on passenger and light truck vehicles. Effectively communicate the strength and weaknesses of a tire’s performance with Goodyear’s tire development engineers, project managers and OE vehicle development engineers. Provide quality data in time to meet product development deadlines. Work on engineering projects to improve safety, quality, and testing effiencies. Coordinate and participate in product demonstrations to tire dealers and the media.
2-5 years performance driving experience preferred
Knowledge of data acquisition and vehicle instrumentation preferred
Ability to prioritize and manage time and resources effectively
Automotive industry experience preferred
