
Cybersecurity and Privacy Intern
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join the Grant Thornton team as a Cybersecurity and Privacy Intern. In this role, you will be exposed to a variety of cyber security and privacy practices and will be able to help us continue to secure our systems, networks, and data. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong interest in cyber security and privacy topics, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail. You should be comfortable with technology, have an ability to think strategically, and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning and a desire to stay abreast of the latest cyber security and privacy trends. With the right attitude and skillset, this is an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experience and develop your knowledge of cyber security and privacy.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of cyber security and privacy policies and procedures
- Monitor security systems and networks for potential threats or vulnerabilities
- Investigate and respond to data breaches or other cyber security incidents
- Monitor industry trends and research new cyber security and privacy technologies
- Provide technical support and guidance for cyber security and privacy projects
- Create and maintain documentation for cyber security and privacy processes
- Assist in the development of cyber security and privacy training materials
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss cyber security and privacy initiatives
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with cyber security and privacy standards
- Assist with the development of cyber security and privacy awareness campaigns.
