Our ideal candidate is passionate about technology and has experience in the cybersecurity and privacy field.The Cybersecurity and Privacy Intern will work closely with the security team to ensure the company’s systems are secure and compliant with applicable laws. The intern will have the opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of areas, including auditing, risk management, incident response, and more.To be the successful candidate, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. You should also have a working knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles and practices, as well as experience using security technologies such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the auditing and evaluation of the company’s networks and systems for security vulnerabilities and compliance.
- Monitor security technologies such as firewalls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems, and maintain their performance.
- Help develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Research emerging technologies and trends in the cybersecurity and privacy field.
- Assist with the development of security awareness training for employees.
- Provide technical support to the security team.
- Prepare reports and other documentation as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all security-related information.
