
Cybersecurity and Privacy Intern
Grant Thornton is looking for an enthusiastic Cybersecurity and Privacy Intern to join our team and help us protect our clients from cyber threats and data privacy risks. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a technical aptitude and a passion for learning. The ideal candidate will have a background in cybersecurity or a related field, and experience or a strong interest in working with software solutions to protect data. They should be highly organized and have excellent communication skills.To be successful in this position, the Cybersecurity and Privacy Intern should have:• A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field• Experience or a strong interest in working with software solutions to protect data• An analytical mindset and problem-solving skills• Strong technical and communication skills• A keen interest in emerging trends and technologies related to cybersecurity and data privacy• An enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to take initiative
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of cyber security and data privacy solutions.
- Conduct research on emerging trends and technologies related to cyber security and data privacy.
- Monitor and analyze security and privacy threats.
- Provide recommendations and advice on security and privacy best practices.
- Assist in the implementation of security and privacy policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports on cybersecurity and data privacy trends.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the training and education of staff on cyber security and data privacy protocols.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of cyber security and data privacy incidents.
- Provide technical support when needed.
