  1. Conduct research and analysis on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.
  2. Assist in developing and implementing cybersecurity and privacy policies and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with senior team members to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the organization's systems and networks.
  4. Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs for suspicious activity.
  5. Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
  6. Implement security tools and technologies to protect against potential threats.
  7. Educate and train employees on cybersecurity best practices and protocols.
  8. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in cybersecurity and privacy.
  9. Assist in creating incident response plans and procedures.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and laws.
  11. Participate in audits and assessments to ensure compliance with cybersecurity and privacy standards.
  12. Prepare reports and presentations on cybersecurity and privacy initiatives and findings.
  13. Support the incident response team in investigating and responding to potential security incidents.
  14. Communicate with clients and stakeholders on cybersecurity and privacy matters.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's cybersecurity and privacy practices.

  • Knowledge Of Cybersecurity And Privacy Laws And Regulations: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Current Cybersecurity And Privacy Laws, Regulations, And Best Practices To Ensure Compliance And Protection Of Sensitive Information.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency In Various Technical Skills Such As Network Security, Vulnerability Assessment, Threat Management, And Data Encryption Is Essential For A Cybersecurity And Privacy Intern At Grant Thornton.

  • Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Potential Security Risks, And Develop Effective Solutions Is Crucial For A Successful Internship Experience In Cybersecurity And Privacy At Grant Thornton.
