Job Description

As the Region HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing HR support and guidance to multiple stores within your assigned region.   1. Provide HR support and guidance: The primary responsibility of the Region HR Generalist is to provide support and guidance to multiple stores within the assigned region. This includes handling employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  2. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures: The Region HR Generalist is responsible for ensuring that all stores within the region are following company policies and procedures, as well as local and federal employment laws.
  3. Facilitate recruitment and onboarding processes: The Generalist will be responsible for working with store managers to identify staffing needs and assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees within the region.
  4. Conduct training and development programs: The Generalist will be responsible for identifying training needs within the region and developing and implementing training programs to improve employee skills and productivity.
  5. Manage employee relations: The Region HR Generalist will be the primary point of contact for employee relations issues within the region. This includes resolving conflicts, conducting investigations, and providing guidance to managers on handling employee issues.
  6. Monitor and analyze HR metrics: The Generalist will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing HR metrics within the region, such as turnover rates, employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, to identify areas for improvement.
  7. Act as a liaison between employees and management: The Region HR Generalist will act as a liaison between employees and management, providing a neutral and confidential channel for employees to voice their concerns and suggestions.
  8. Support performance management processes: The Generalist will assist store managers in implementing performance management processes, including conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching and feedback to employees.
  9. Stay updated on HR trends and best practices: The Region HR Generalist will stay updated on the latest HR trends and best practices to ensure the region's HR policies and practices are in line with industry standards.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment: The Generalist will be responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive work environment within the region, promoting diversity and inclusivity initiatives and

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Hr, Preferably In A Retail Or Multi-Location Environment.

  • Strong Understanding Of Federal And State Employment Laws And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships At All Levels Of The Organization.

  • Experience With Hris Systems And Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite.
