The successful candidate will also be a motivated self-starter who is able to work independently and collaboratively with our team of healthcare providers. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide safe, effective, and appropriate medication therapy to pediatric NICU patients.
  2. Monitor and adjust medication therapy protocols based on patient response.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient medication histories.
  4. Educate patients, families, and staff on appropriate medication use and potential side effects.
  5. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  6. Develop and implement innovative strategies and protocols for pediatric pharmacotherapy.
  7. Participate in research projects related to pediatric pharmacotherapy.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with vendor representatives.
  9. Develop and maintain educational programs and materials related to pediatric pharmacotherapy.
  10. Monitor and review drug utilization and outcomes.
