Job Description

As a seasoned professional, the AVP Clinical Research Program at HCA Healthcare is a unique opportunity to take your career to the next level. This individual should have a deep knowledge of clinical research and its associated regulations. To be successful, you must have a strong understanding of the research process and possess the ability to effectively manage personnel and resources. The successful candidate must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.The AVP Clinical Research Program at HCA Healthcare requires a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a clinical research-related field, as well as a Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field. Candidates with a Master's degree or higher in a relevant field are preferred. In addition, we are looking for a leader with demonstrated management experience and a strong track record of success in leading and managing clinical research programs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies for clinical research programs, ensuring their compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Manage personnel and resources to ensure successful completion of clinical research projects.
  3. Collaborate with stakeholders, including research sponsors and collaborators, to ensure timely execution and completion of clinical research projects.
  4. Prepare and review project timelines and budgets to ensure efficient and cost-effective completion of research projects.
  5. Monitor and evaluate progress of clinical research projects, ensuring they are meeting deadlines and objectives.
  6. Provide guidance and support to research personnel to ensure successful completion of research projects.
  7. Coordinate with other departments, including IT, finance, and legal, to ensure successful completion of research projects.
  8. Establish and maintain relationships with research sponsors, collaborators, and other key stakeholders.
  9. Communicate results of research projects to stakeholders, including research sponsors and collaborators.
  10. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and ethical guidelines.
