  1. Assist in the implementation and coordination of clinical research studies, including recruitment of participants, data collection, and ensuring compliance with study protocols.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and researchers to develop and revise research protocols and informed consent forms.
  3. Provide direct patient care, including administration of medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing clinical procedures as required by the research study.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient data and study procedures.
  5. Ensure patient safety and welfare by identifying and reporting adverse events and protocol deviations.
  6. Communicate effectively with study participants, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide education and support regarding the research study.
  7. Conduct literature reviews and stay up-to-date on current research findings and best practices in the field.
  8. Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards for conducting clinical research, including HIPAA and FDA regulations.
  9. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge in clinical research.
  10. Collaborate with the research team to analyze data and contribute to the publication of research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  11. Maintain professional relationships with study sponsors, research organizations, and regulatory agencies.
  12. Serve as a patient advocate and ensure that the rights and well-being of study participants are protected at all times.
  13. Assist in the organization and coordination of research meetings, conferences, and presentations.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives related to clinical research processes.
