  1. Perform EKG procedures on patients accurately and efficiently.
  2. Set up and calibrate EKG equipment for use.
  3. Ensure patient comfort and safety during EKG procedures.
  4. Monitor and record EKG readings and report any abnormalities to healthcare professionals.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized records of EKG results.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  7. Follow established protocols and procedures for EKG testing.
  8. Assist in training and mentoring new EKG technicians.
  9. Keep up-to-date with advancements in EKG technology and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Ekg Technician: Hca Healthcare Requires All Ekg Technicians To Hold A Current Certification From An Accredited Program, Such As The National Healthcareer Association's Certified Ekg Technician (Cet) Certification.

  • Experience With Ekg Equipment: Candidates Should Have Experience Operating And Troubleshooting Ekg Equipment, Including 12-Lead And Stress Testing Machines. This Includes Knowledge Of Proper Lead Placement, Calibration, And Interpretation Of Results.

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology: A Strong Understanding Of Cardiac Anatomy And Physiology Is Crucial For Accurately Interpreting Ekg Results.
