  1. Develop and implement nutritional plans for patients based on their individual needs and medical conditions.
  2. Conduct assessments and consultations with patients to determine their dietary requirements and goals.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patients' dietary needs are met and their health is improved.
  4. Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition and dietary habits.
  5. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in nutrition and dietary guidelines.
  6. Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' dietary information and progress.
  8. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and guidelines related to nutrition and dietary services.
  9. Collaborate with food service staff to ensure meals meet patients' dietary requirements.
  10. Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay informed on company policies and procedures.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve nutrition services to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  14. Act as a resource and provide guidance to other healthcare providers on nutrition-related matters.
  15. Participate in community outreach and education programs related to nutrition and health promotion.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition Or Related Field: A Registered Dietitian Position At Healthcare Services Group Typically Requires A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Credential: Candidates For This Role Must Possess A National Rd Credential From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr) To Practice As A Registered Dietitian.

  • State Licensure Or Certification: Depending On The State, A Registered Dietitian May Also Need To Obtain A State-Specific License Or Certification To Practice. This May Involve Passing An Exam Or Completing Additional Coursework.

  • Experience In Healthcare Or Foodservice Industry: Previous Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Long-Term Care Facility, Or In Foodservice Management Is Often Preferred For A Registered Dietitian Role At Healthcare Services Group.

  • Knowledge Of Nutrition Guidelines And Regulations: As A Registered Dietitian, It Is Essential To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Nutrition Guidelines And Regulations, Including Those Set By The Academy Of Nutrition And Dietetics, The U.s. Department Of Agriculture, And The Food And Drug Administration.
