- Develop and execute social media strategies for various publications within the Hearst Corporation
- Create engaging and on-brand content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Monitor and analyze social media trends and incorporate them into content strategy
- Collaborate with the editorial team to ensure a cohesive brand voice and messaging across all social media platforms
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and make recommendations for new and creative ways to engage with our audience
- Manage social media calendars and schedule posts according to publication schedules and breaking news
- Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize social media analytics tools to track and report on performance, making adjustments to strategies as needed
- Assist in managing and growing social media communities and partnerships
- Stay informed on the latest features and updates for social media platforms and implement them into our strategy
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to support social media campaigns and promotions
- Attend relevant industry events and conferences to stay current on emerging trends and network with other professionals in the field.
Bachelor's Degree In Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Social Media Management Or Digital Content Creation.
Strong Understanding Of Social Media Platforms And Trends, Including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, And Tiktok.
Excellent Writing And Editing Skills, With A Keen Eye For Detail And Ability To Craft Engaging And Compelling Content.
Experience With Content Management Systems And Analytics Tools, Such As Hootsuite And Google Analytics.
