- Oversee and manage the editorial operations of all publications within the company.
- Collaborate with the Managing Editor to develop and implement editorial strategies and plans.
- Lead and mentor a team of editors, writers, and other editorial staff members.
- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and integrity of all published content.
- Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in journalism.
- Work closely with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Coordinate with external contributors and freelancers to ensure timely and high-quality content delivery.
- Review and approve editorial budgets and expenses.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to editorial staff.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
- Uphold the company's values and standards of ethics in all aspects of the job.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Senior Editorial Role, Preferably At A Major Publishing Company Or Media Organization.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Leading A Team Of Editors And Writers.
Strong Understanding Of Editorial Processes And Standards, Including Copy Editing, Fact-Checking, And Content Development.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Other Departments And Senior Management.
Demonstrated Ability To Meet Tight Deadlines And Work In A Fast-Paced, Constantly Evolving Media Environment.
