  1. Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition and development plans to attract, develop and retain top talent for Hearst Corporation.
  2. Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business needs and develop talent acquisition strategies to support company growth.
  3. Design and implement innovative and effective recruitment and selection processes to identify and attract highly qualified candidates.
  4. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote the Hearst Corporation brand and attract top talent.
  5. Utilize various sourcing methods to identify and engage passive candidates, including social media, professional networking events, and industry conferences.
  6. Manage the full cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, conducting interviews, and extending offers.
  7. Develop and manage a strong pipeline of high-potential candidates for current and future job openings.
  8. Partner with HR and business leaders to identify development needs and design and implement training and development programs to support employee growth and career development.
  9. Monitor and analyze talent acquisition and development metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  10. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters and talent development professionals to ensure high performance and alignment with company goals.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and development to continuously improve and innovate our processes.
  12. Represent Hearst Corporation at industry events and conferences to promote our employer brand and attract top talent.
  13. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to talent acquisition and development.
  14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in talent acquisition and development.
  15. Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates on talent acquisition and development efforts and make recommendations for improvement and growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Talent Acquisition: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Talent Acquisition, Preferably In A Leadership Or Senior Management Role. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Recruiting Top Talent And Implementing Effective Recruitment Strategies.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills: A Sr. Director In This Role Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Talent Acquisition And Development Professionals. Therefore, They Should Have Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Motivate, Mentor, And Develop Their Team.

  • Expertise In Talent Development: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Talent Development Strategies And Techniques, Including Performance Management, Succession Planning, And Employee Training And Development. They Should Also Have Experience In Implementing These Strategies Across A Large Organization.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices: The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In The Latest Trends, Technologies, And Best Practices In Talent Acquisition And Development. This Includes Knowledge Of Recruitment Tools And Platforms, Diversity And Inclusion Initiatives, And Employee Engagement Strategies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Sr. Director Will Be Responsible For Building Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Including Senior Leadership And External Partners. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate And Influence Others Towards A Common Goal.
