At Heartland Payment Systems, we are looking for a motivated Governance, Risk, and Compliance Intern to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance field, while building relationships and gaining valuable knowledge and skills. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in technology and a willingness to learn.The successful Governance, Risk, and Compliance Intern will be a self-starter who is eager to collaborate and learn from our experienced team. You should have an understanding of the common challenges and opportunities associated with Governance, Risk, and Compliance. Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain an understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance concepts.
Assist in the development and implementation of Governance, Risk, and Compliance policies and procedures.
Assist the team in identifying and addressing Governance, Risk, and Compliance issues.
Monitor and report on Governance, Risk, and Compliance trends and best practices.
Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure Governance, Risk, and Compliance standards are met.
Participate in training and workshops to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field.
Provide administrative support for Governance, Risk, and Compliance initiatives.
Assist in the development of audit plans and processes.
Maintain and update Governance, Risk, and Compliance records.
