Job Description

Administers various cloud and on-premise databases including Snowflake, MongoDB, SQL Server, and MySQL. Optimizing performance of data integration processes. Programming in T-SQL. Deployment and maintenance of cloud infrastructure. Continuous automation improvements to various integration processes. Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines for data integration. Works alongside Data Engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists to optimize query performance as needed. Troubleshoot production issues or service outages as they occur, including after-hours and weekends. Handles capacity planning and monitors data platform growth. Optimizes cloud storage, infrastructure, and SaaS services with a focus on storage and compute reduction where possible

Job Qualifications

Knowledge and hands on experience with modern data warehouse technology and large scale storage
Proficient in data migration and minimization of downtime supporting an SLA
Strong background working with Azure, AWS, and/or GCP public clouds
Experience with modern ELT technologies such as Matillion, Azure Data Factory, Striim, Databricks, dbt, Attunity, Fivetran, HVR, and/or AWS Glue
