- Develop and implement strategic plans for product categories to drive growth and profitability for the company.
- Conduct thorough market and consumer research to identify key trends, opportunities, and challenges within the category.
- Utilize data analysis to make informed decisions and recommendations for product assortment, pricing, promotions, and distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and execution of category strategies.
- Monitor and analyze category performance, including sales, market share, and competitive landscape, and develop plans to address any issues or capitalize on opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date on industry and market trends, and use this knowledge to inform category strategies and drive innovation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and retailers, to negotiate favorable terms and drive category growth.
- Lead and manage a team of category analysts, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
- Communicate category strategies and performance to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for future growth.
- Continuously evaluate and improve category management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Marketing, Or Related Field.
Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In Category Management, Market Analysis, Or Strategic Planning.
Proficiency In Data Analysis And Analytics Tools Such As Tableau, Sql, And Microsoft Excel.
Strong Leadership Skills With The Ability To Manage And Develop A Team.
Knowledge Of Retail And Consumer Trends, As Well As Experience In The Consumer Packaged Goods Industry.
